We wish to thank our wonderful customers for creating Strea.ma social media walls for so many influential events and campaigns in 2016.

As the year draws to a cIose I want to share a few updates about what we’ve been up to over the last few months, and give you a steer on where we’re heading in 2017.

(We’ve also got a couple of major feature announcements to make over the next two days – so stay tuned!).

It’s been a year of significant progress for Strea.ma. We’ve worked hard all year on new features and performance improvements and our platform has now been used for social media campaigns and events by over 1500 brands in 60 countries, including Sensis, Pepsi, Australian National University, Sony, Yelp, KAYAK, IBM, Etsy, Art Institute of Chicago, Cricket South Africa, American Red Cross, Gaylord Hotels, and Bloomberg.

New features we’ve added

We know that social media is all about audience engagement, so we’ve made it easy for you to capture your audience’s attention and gauge the impact of your social media activities:

  • A variety of new display modes with eye-catching animation and lots more opportunities for you to show your logo and information about your campaign or event on the screen
  • Analytics so you can measure your campaign’s success
  • We also released a package designed for agencies and large organisations so that it’s easy to manage multiple customers and streams.

New features coming in 2017

We get a ton of feedback from our users and we’re always working on our roadmap of new features to make sure Strea.ma is providing you with the optimal experience. Here is what we’ve got planned for the new year:

  • The Strea.ma mobile app.
  • Amazing new display modes.
  • Geo-targeting.
  • Archive capability so you can store and access your stream’s content after your event or campaign
  • Social media video support
  • Twitter and Instagram logins so you can access your lists, followers, favourites and more.

Holiday support

During the Christmas and New Year period, our Support Team will be unavailable for regular support until January 9 2017. If you have any specific support requirements over this period please contact us prior to December 23 to discuss options.
